AbleCare Homes is a South West, Bristol based family run residential care home company set up in 1983, which was when we established our first care home, Belvedere Lodge. Since then the company has expanded around the South West and Bristol and now offers the choice of six professionally run care homes. 
 
Thanks to the dedication and hard work of those involved at all levels from Managers to Care Assistants and Domestic and Ancillary Staff we are a multi-award winning organisation. It is our main aim to provide individually tailored care to suit the needs of each resident and non resident alike. We are able to offer the following; residential care, short breaks, day care and lunch clubs in all of our care homes. 

We offer care for older people and people with dementia in our homes.  We are able to offer long-term packages of care and short-term care for family and carer breaks.  We are also able to support younger individuals who need a period of more intensive support on the journey to setting up independent living for the future.  

Our chefs prepare a wide variety of home cooked meals. Our kitchens achieve consistently good Food Hygiene ratings. Vegetarian meals and special dietary requirements such as diabetics are catered for within our menu’s. Meals can be taken in the dining rooms or the resident’s own personal accommodation. Arrangements are flexible and any resident who has guests, then this person or persons is more than welcome to join them at meal time (by prior arrangement).
