Confidential wellbeing & mental health support for health and care staff in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire
The Covid-19 global pandemic has created exceptional pressures for our workforce. The Healthier Together Support Network is a new layer of help for all health and care staff working in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Although the service has been set up in response to Covid-19, we are here to help staff manage stress caused by or impacting their work, offering:
- Access to confidential talking therapies
- Access to psychological therapy for work-related trauma
- Training and selected resources for individuals and managers
- Stories to help people understand and manage the impact of stress
Social Care Staff Recognition
As an employee of AbleCare Homes you can apply for a Blue Light Card which will give you discount from 100's of shops and services. Applying is easy and we can provide proof of your employment for you to get the card, which will give you the same discounts that our NHS colleagues are eligible for. What's more, once you have paid for and received your Blue Light Card, AbleCare Homes will reimburse your £4.99 membership fee.
